Filthy Tabloid Trash

January18th

Charles Thomson is someone who you all know already. He is a journalist who needs no introduction in the MJ community. A journalist committed to not only accurate and honest reporting, but powerful reporting—reporting that challenges, informs and clarifies. Whether killing the false accusations of Gene Simmons, calling attention to the still-existent media bias towards Michael, charting the scale of the injustice of the 2005 trial, or clarifying the ridiculous hype of a TMZ non-story, Charles Thomson’s public work has consistently told the truth about Michael Jackson.

One of the consequences of this is, unfortunately, that this outstanding journalist has become the focus of confused individuals (so-called “haters”) who are targeting Mr. Thomson precisely because he is not biased, is successful and is making a difference in how Michael Jackson is perceived in the public domain.

Rather than give publicity to the various means in which Thomson is being attacked, let us instead look at how we can support Thomson and help him to continue the important and necessary work he is doing.

Want to show your support for Charles Thomson? Here’s how:

Visit this article by Thomson at the Huffington Post:
“One of the Most Shameful Episodes In Journalistic History” / June 10, 2010

You have probably already read it, but that’s okay. We’re not asking you to re-read it, but to do something very simple and easy:

SHARE + TWEET + EMAIL

Charles Thomson at the Huffington PostAt the beginning of the article, there is a “share this story” box with icons to let you easily share the article on Twitter, Facebook, and via email. Please click all three of these social media links. That’s how easy it is to show your support!

Why are these three clicks important? Even though the comments are closed, clicking these three social media links sends a direct, recorded notification to the Huffington Post that Charles Thomson’s work is read, appreciated and in demand. When you click those three links, you send a physical and perceptual message to the fantastic Huffington Post editorial team that Thomson brings their site traffic and approval. Every site owner wants that—wouldn’t you?

Send that message today and keep sending it. There is no limit on how many times you click it and you can tell your friends to join in too. We would like to get the Twitter and Facebook clicks up to thousands more.

When people talk about how social media changes things, this is what they mean.

Thank you.

    Dear friends,
thank you for this important information!!!
As StoryTribune is just a small writng studio down here in Germany, we managed to publish “our” book for MJJ “My Sleeping Prince – A Poem Tribute to the King of Pop” mid of December. Because this book also is planed to support charity, as much as we can afford, we announced it once when printed. Since that ( and marketing not even has started properly), we noticed an increase of strange messages coming in. In the beginning, we were not even aware about “Haters” or “Believers” and this kind of groups – I learned it more by the contact to MJ Fans, mainly from US, that they exist. Me, as the author, also recieved notes by people like that – could not identify whether they were the one or the other. But their notes are pointing out – about MJ faked his death -, and more bad things, and try to blame us, to write about like that – I don’t want to repeat in here. MY fb site was blocked shortly after one of those notes, claiming about I had spamed ??? somebody (never did, for sure).
This people, I say it clear, are evil!!!
StoryTribune, from the very beginning, added a “Code” to their website – as a statement, that we will NOT write any trash.
    http://www.storytribune.com/grobritannien-uk/storytribune-code/index.html
    for nothing and no one.
However, it will not prevent, that upright journalists and writers are blamed.
So please, whoever read this – help to defend and maintain honest publications. Thank You!

Just wanted to tell you how great I think this initiative is. God knows there are not so many journalists we can trust out there, especially when it comes to Michael. Charles has shown to be honest, unbiased, hard working, and has a sense of ethics. I wish we had more of his kind to rely on. Keep writing Charles! :)

IN ASSOLUTO VOGLIO GIUSTIZIA PER MICHAEL JACKSON, UN MEDICO CHE NON SA FARE IL SUO LAVORO , NON PUO’ ESERCITARE LA SUA PROFESSIONE IN NESSUNO STATO .

IN OLTRE VOGLIO E VOGLIAMO QUI IN ITALIA UNA CONDANNA ESEMPLARE PER IL DOTTOR MURRAY COME MINIMO SI MERITEREBBE 20 ANNI DI CARCERE.

DA NOI INI TALIA L’AMERICA E CONOSCUTA COME UNO STATO IN CUI SI DANNO PUNIZIONI ESMPLARI, PER FAR SI CHE LE PERSONE NON COMMETANO GLI STESSI SBAGLI , NON FATECI RICREDERE, NON FATECI RICREDERE .
L’ITALIANI ANNO MANIFESTATO DAVANTI AGLI STUDI MEDIASET E DUOMO DI MILANO, E PIAZZA DUCA D’OSTA, STAZIONE CENTRALE, CON STRISCIONI CON LA SCRITTA CHE RIPORTATE IN AMERICA.

ANCHE QUI IN ITALIA IL NOSTRO MOTTO E’

“JUSTICE FOR MICHAEL” E “CHANGE CHARGES TO MURDER”
